Following the 20 years Anniversary of
the Ilkley Complementary Medicine
Festival and witnessing the evolvement
of Complementary Therapies in the UK, we
are very proud to now be able to offer a
selection of course introductions and
workshops provided by recognised
Training establishments in the North of
England.
All workshops in the forum will include
proof of attendance which will provide
Therapists with up to 2 hours of CPD
(Continued Professional Development).

are accredited by the FHT (Federation of
Holistic Therapists)
and BRCP (British
Register of Complementary Practitioners)
so Therapists and those
of you who want to train as Therapists
will have an understanding of the
quality of training we offer.
A charge of £8 will be made to this
initial insight of the quality of
courses we run but this will be refunded
to those of you who take up one of our
professional courses.

(an introduction to Oriental Body
Balance)
Oriental Body Balance (OBB) is an award
winning system of assessment and
treatment that views the body from a
number of different angles and utilises
the best ancient oriental methods with
western researched techniques to lead
the body to recovery quickly and
efficiently.
During this workshop you will be guided
through the modules of this 1 year 10
module Diploma course, learn some new
skills and see a demonstration of some
of the techniques used within the
system.
Cost of this workshop will be refunded
to students who enrol on any of our
courses following this exhibition.

Introduction to Body Release.
This Course consists of a series of
techniques based on Thai and other
therapeutic massage systems, focusing on
the areas of persistent tension which
lead to jamming of the joints throughout
the body.
During this workshop we will take a
brief look at the body in motion and
demonstrate how we release jamming
through the foot.
Cost of this workshop will be refunded
to students who enrol on any of our
courses following this exhibition.
